Giani Gurmukh Singh Musafir

Giani Gurmukh Singh Musafir was a multi-dimensional personality. He rose to the positions of Jathedar, Sri Akal Takhat, General Secretary SGPC, and President of Punjab Pardesh Congress Committee. Member, Congress Working Committee, Chief Minister of Punjab, and as a Member of Parliament, in addition to holding several other offices in his lifetime. But Giani Ji's first love always remained writing poetry. His first job as a teacher earned him the title of Giani. His inspirational poetry to jathas preparing to go from village to village earned him the surname of Musafir He was famous story writer, poet and critic in his times and known as modern story writer.
